1. Blogging
Blogging is a great way to make money online. Many people blog about different topics on various websites. If you have a website related to music or fashion or lifestyle etc., then you can start blogging. You can write articles based on your expertise. There are many free article writing softwares out there. Just copy content from those softwares and publish it on your website.
2. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to earn money online. You do not need any special skills or knowledge before starting your work. All you need is a computer and Internet connection. There are many companies who offer affiliate programs. All you have to do is signup for their program and promote their products. When someone buys the product then you get commission.
3. Amazon-FBA - Fulfillment By Amazon
Amazon offers its own fulfillment services (FBA). In fact, if you do enough business, they'll provide their own pickup service for you. You're not really working at amazon anymore. I have been using them for over 2 years and I love the simplicity of doing my own thing...not having to report inventory and shipping myself is a huge time saver. The only drawback is that the profit margin is lower than if you were selling products directly to customers. But that's ok when building a business.
4. Freelance Writing
Freelance writing is becoming popular these days. People are earning good amount of money through freelance. But you need to know some things before getting started. First thing first is to find clients. You can place ads on Craigslist or other local business classified sites. Second thing is to charge reasonable rates. Don't charge less than $25 per page. Thirdly, proofread and edit their work before sending them.
5. Data Entry / Typing Jobs
There are many data entry jobs available online. You can easily find them by doing a quick search on Google. Most of the time they require basic typing skills. You can take data entry surveys online in your spare time. All you need to do is fill few simple questions and earn some extra cash each month.
6. EBay-Ebay Stores or eBay dropship
You may know eBay does dropshipping, but did you know they have stores? Stores are basically a way to sell items inside of eBay's ecosystem. Selling items inside of eBay's store could be considered an indirect way to market yourself. You can create a brand around what you're selling and use the platform to get more exposure…however, make sure to price competitively among similar products.
7. Stitch Fix
Stitch Fix is similar to eBays' store system. Your clothes will be style selected, cleaned, pressed and shipped to you. They don't charge any fees to receive the box either! They cost $20-$55 a month depending on your style preferences. Once you receive the box you will need to send back whatever didn't fit. Check out our review to learn the ins and outs of Stitch Fix!
8. ThredUp-Online consignment shop
Another great site to sell stuff is called ThredUp. We personally love ThredUp & haven't had any issues yet! ThredUp takes about 15% off their retail prices. On top of that ThredUp provides customer service that is outstanding. ThredUp even guarantees that they will pay you via PayPal no matter what. ThredUp ships almost anywhere which makes it super convenient. ThredUp's only downside is that they can sometimes take awhile to ship items especially during busy holiday months. As someone who loves fast shipping, this was annoying to me. However, once you get paid, you get paid immediately.
9. Avon
Avon is a lot different than the other businesses we've listed. Instead of selling physical items, you become an Avon Beauty Consultant and represent Avon Products all over your area. You can earn commission on each product sold through you by going to another Avon Rep's house party. Usually, it costs nothing to sign up and there are certain requirements to qualify for parties. That being said, Avon is amazing because it's built around people who want to work and build something down the road. Signing up for Avon as a consultant is much easier than many other opportunities out there
10. Overdosed Nail Salon
Want to open your own nail salon? Sure, that might sound glamorous but first you have to find clients to schedule appointments with. To be successful in this business, you’ll need to reach out to friends, family, and anyone else you think would be interested in nail care!
11. Shopkick
Shopkick is an app where you can earn cash rewards and gift cards for shopping at places like Target, Sephora, Starbucks, Macy's, etc. When you walk into those aforementioned locations you have the potential to scan your phone at the register and receive money! So far the maximum reward is 20 dollars but I've seen people get 500 dollar gift cards at some registers.
12. E-Commerce Website
If you want to sell your own product or service then you can create an ecommerce website. There are many free tools available online to help you build your website. Once your site is ready you can add products to your site. And if you want to increase sales than pay per click advertising is the best option.
13. Etsy
Etsy is an online marketplace where you can sell handmade items. I use it to sell my crafty stuff. In order to sell on Etsy you should register for an account. After that you need to select categories and products to sell. Then you can set prices and put descriptions of your items. Finally, you can save your listing and share it with others.
14. Online Shopping Sites
Online shopping sites are also known as e-shops. These shops allow customers to shop online without leaving home. These sites are similar to shopping malls. You can buy anything from clothes to electronics to furniture. These sites offer competitive pricing and convenient payment options.
